The Brew Control

The Brew formed in 2004 in Grimsby UK and  broke internationally in 2008 with ‘The Joker’.

After 3 studio albums, including 2012’s ‘Live In Europe’ release, and hard-earned experience playing major festivals, sharing the stage and touring with some of the most iconic artists in recent times such as  ZZ Top, Ozzy Osbourne, Chickenfoot, Jeff Beck and Lynryd Skynryd – ‘The Brew’ have now fine-tuned and carefully crafted their music with the release of their 4th studio album ‘Control.’

The new album is out worldwide this month (March 2014) via Jazzhaus Records.

the brew shortThe Brew are:

Jason Barwick – Guitar & Vocals
Kurtis Smith – Drums
Tim Smith – Bass & Vocals

Single ‘Repeat’ (issued Jan 2014) is a beautifully fiery affair – an amalgam of blues delivered  with feeling and enraged classic rock.

Lit up by  the  pizzazz of the most exciting guitarwork your’e likely to hear this year …… and surrounded by splintering percussion.

The pleading  vocals may remind you of Ozzy at his best – but when these are girdled by those hurtling fire-flies of searing sounds  –  the piece comes fluidly alive like a madman in a bottle.

This track is more inflamed than ever it ought to be    – with tremendously sucking wah-wah pedals –  and jars of screams. A furious delight.
