Lead singer Joelle’s voice is reminiscent of pop-rocker Natalie Imbruglia – with that glossy clean-flush and prime-time sheen that is so radio-friendly.
Add to that neat voice a racy set of melodies and compositions that are clever and intricate – with tart and fast-paced rhythms – and you soon discover that this is an unusually tight band with a commercial – yet sophisticated – sound.
