Shropshire lads ‘Young Braves’ (formerly Arcade Parade) only formed three years back – yet they are already sounding sure-footed and confident – creating songs that are playful, deep and honest.
We have been listening to “Youth” – here’s what we think:
This shines like a high mountain stream.
The main voice is clear and it climbs gently.
It is surrounded by abundant, tin-lined guitars. And a sleek, low, nibble of bass guitar that prods along the piece.
The guitar work fizzes and excites. And will thrill and inspire.
This is generous, encouraging and invigorating.
