Electronic dream pop collaborators Chilly Gonzales & Boys Noize team up for ‘Octave Minds’ – a new partnership album, set for release in september on Boysnoize Records.
After producing Chilly’s 2010 album ‘Ivory Tower’ – the pair have vowed to return with a full body of work.
They will release the first single as a free download.
We have been listening to ‘In Silence’ :-
This has extraordinary crescents of light.
The keys fall like liquid streams.
A talkative synth gurgles even longer.
And the soft voice is pasted onto this surface.
But, despite all that shining shimmer – this track is not fragile or pastel…
It has the power of a thermal spring. This piece contains huge stimulus – held-back – and waiting for release and delivery.
This is probably one of the fiercest and heated ‘ambient’ tracks you’ll hear this summer!
