The Good Husbands are a hip hop group from the San Juan Islands. Their mission is to make good music and represent the Pacific Northwest to the fullest.
Their new project entitled “Staycation” features a friend – fellow up-and-coming Seattle artist – Ryan Caraveo – and scratches on the track were done by DJ Indica Jones. The track itself was produced by Good Husbands group member gone producer Tyler Hart (T-Hart) and has an easy going, uplifting vibe that is sure to fit perfectly with the current state of events in our country.

This song has a sweet and upliftingly warm sunset quality.
The cobblestone vocals rumble efficiently and are gentle and uplifting.
There are several gem-like clumps littered across the piece … these happily distract you for a while.
But the focus of the song is the chorus… warm and generous. It rises and feathers, like a blue jay. Curious yet reflective.
Beautiful hip-hop with a bottom crust that has a golden heart and a topping of butter-sugar… Plus discreet voices that crumble together, gently, melting into the wider sound.
