The unmissable and genuinely soul-stirring songwriter Kris Gruen embarks on his European tour this May.
The indie/folk artist from Montpelier, VT (United States) writes songs about growing and living… Infused with a mystical wonder, and softening the sharp corners of this world like a glass of exceptionally fine bourbon.
Since the release of his full-length album in 2013 — ‘New Comics From The Wooded World’ Gruen has toured constantly, with frequent trips to Los Angeles and New York City.
His next full album ‘Coast and Refuge’ is due for release later this year.

Songs like ‘How Long Will I Wait’ are stained in dirty rain-drops and sung from a sad heart …
Uncompromising, but strangely sweet — as they become increasingly uncomfortable.
This voice is almost light as a whisper… But it’s quite dark… Smooth and rich in nutrients, like pumpkin seed spread.
The chorus is strong and the involving rhythm leads us on to a sense of loss, as the unthinkable becomes more apparent.
Thus, the low mood becomes more compelling.
The introduction of sad cello and melancholy brass creates a truly memorable experience.
