UK lo-fi artist Billionaire will be releasing his debut EP Fine Minds this Friday 22nd May.

We had a listen to the new EP:

Twangy amber rinds fleck the title track ‘ Fine Minds’ — this is whilst insistent chips riddle the persistent beat.

The angelic voice is incredibly beautiful. Light and feathery, while retaining the passion and warmth in the moment.

This is a narrow track that takes you down tight corridors before letting you see the light.

And, for that reason, it is truly wonderful. Even the lyrics are worth dwelling on.

The voice has a lower register on ‘Jewel in the Crown’ nearly Gary Numan.

But, of course, this is sweeter and chippier. Pleasant beats sit side-by-side those uplifting vocals and a nagging chorus.

Imagine if Johnny Cash had produced a dance floor number … He could easily have created something like ‘Supermodel’.

This has the same bass-baritone poetic intrigue you might expect from the man-in-black and this track also embraces those vintage blues.

It is a pretty amazing feat. An incredible track! Out Now!
