Howard’s Money Can’t Buy has gone over three million streams on Spotify.
Brooklyn-based folktronic band Howard consisting of Howard Feibusch (producer, guitar, vocals) with Myles Heff (bass), Chris Holdridge (drums) and Alex Chakour (synths, guitar) released their critically acclaimed debut album, Religion, earlier this year.

Now, their breakout single, “Money Can’t Buy” has achieved three million streams on Spotify.
We had a listen:
The rapid fluttering beats (from guitar and quick-wristed drum) creates motion like running water.
The voice is smooth and eloquently sweet. Though timber husked and properly masculine in its demeanour.
The sound of the interpolating keyboard adds a new dimension of ultra-low moodiness… but the reduced energy might be more to do with the general languidity of the overall mood than any abounding sadness.
Sluggish but super-calming folk, with excellent power and genius of melody.
Just right for all those suffering sunny morning lovesickness.
