The Heavy Jets are a heavy, original, guitar driven, rock band from Newcastle upon Tyne UK whose influences include Classic Rock Bands such as The Who and Thin Lizzy.
We have been listening to Common Mantra — the title track from the EP:
This struts like an like a moody boogie-pilgrim with sharp rhythms and some down ‘n’ dirty driving guitar.
The vocal from Rhys Breen is grouchy and peppery. With some loquacious backing vox.
The chorus is impressive and engaging.
This smokes like a pot full of stewing acid left on the stove too long.
Very impressive!
