Here on Raw Ramp Island we have been listening to the Danish act HÔN — since the release of his single titled Honeydream released from the White Lion – Album [Out 30th Oct.]
HÔN is based around the extraordinary cloudy-sweet vocals of Jesper Lidang. Expect lo-fi ambience, race-heart drum-machines and fresh melodies.
The new single is called S.U.B. We had a listen:
This is slow and slightly sad.
With a despondent beat. And stained colours that leak their losses across a rippled threshold.
The voice is shot down. Yet there is ample power & arcs of sparkling energy buried deep within the cavernous hollows.
When the penetrating light comes — it is of Eastern flavour and peaks with magical spirit.
