The Northern alt-pop quintet Shields have released the video for their latest single — ‘Alive‘ which is on their debut album ‘How Can We Fix This?‘ — out on February 26th.
“With ‘Alive’, we wanted to do something closer to a short film and felt the urge to create something a bit darker than our previous videos…” the band told us.
“Mission accomplished. The video follows a psychopathic man who beats, stabs, and chokes his unsuspecting victims while traversing the countryside in an RV. If that doesn’t sound like your idea of fun, don’t worry; there are aerobics and disco parties involved for anyone who comes along. ”

The rhythms gradually grow before they embrace every facet of the kindest of melodies…
This has an attractive smooth jazzy feel filled with lots of fluorescent colours and some dab-hand, light-touch vocals.
