Marie is Scandinavia’s answer to electro poppy Imogen Heap and Jessie Ware — she has already sold out the entire upcoming tour in her home country.

The table-top beats help give this a nervy edge and the gritty plucks also add to the unease…
The ink-blot vocal is soaked in broken-hearted woe and the dark pigments in those ever-present rhythms attest to isolation and bitter emotions… it seems these are causing the regret.
This is an indelible song, touched by soot and gluey sadness.
Truly memorable…
