Shimmy Wiggle Fun from Swedish Sleaze Merchants REBEL MISTRESS

REBEL MISTRESS is a hard rock act from Stockholm Sweden boasting Marielle Tengström on vocals, Johan Jönsson on guitar, Marcus Skantz on bass and Oskar Hallberg on drums.

They say they take their influences from Mötley Crüe and Guns N’ Roses.

They have just released a glorious new music video for their song “Let It Rain” taken from their latest EP “Restless Minds.”

The video visualizes the REBEL MISTRESS dream party … with a fun and sexy twist.

Expect lots of semi-clad girls, plenty of party behaviour, some bouncy humour and some great production.

The music video is made by Manfred Hanberg Productions and recorded in Dregen’s (Michael Monroe, Backyard Babies) hotel room at Hesselby Castle in Stockholm.

We had a listen:

Glistening guitars herald in the thrills and a bruising bass reminds us of “Another One Bites the Dust.”

But about a third of the way through this starts to resemble Joan Jett’s version of I Love Rock ‘n Roll

There is strength courage and passion in the vocals and plenty of mayhemic shimmying to be witnessed.

Exciting!
