Aynsley’s last studio album, 2013’s “Home” collected the Brit blues-guitar wonder praise and awards.

Eyes Wide Open” is another bold and über-accessible helping of twenty-first-century blues-rock. It promises to collect more accolades, as well as introduce Aynsley’s expressive style-fusions to a new audience.

The new album will coincide with Aynsley’s UK and European tour which kicks off on September 22nd in Chislehurst.  See below for more tour date details.

The 39-year-old British guitarist said that this energetic new album is a return to roots; a record that has all the determination of traditional blues:

I wanted to keep the raw edginess and energy of a band…

So that meant minimal takes and going with the ones that had the most spirit and passion over those with technical perfection. To me, music isn’t supposed to be perfect. It’s supposed to grab you and move you both emotionally and physically; it’s supposed to connect with you.

Aynsley has just premiered the video for the track “All Of Your Love” taken from the new album.

Aynsley 200We had a listen:

This has a relentless beat and daubs of organ.

The guitar is angulated and gilded.

The vocal is creaseless as-ever — soul-filled and intelligently slick… It maximizes the grip on the lyrics.

About half-way through, the croaky guitar snorts and blasts as it interacts with the rhythms.

Then the sounds burst forth in a delirious outpouring of sheer exuberance.
