Extrovert Brighton -based UK sleaze-punk trio STRANGE CAGES are set to return with their psych-surf rock ‘n’ roll sound and boasting a spanking new EP.
‘The Cracks’ EP will be released via Vallence Records this June, with ‘Leader Of A Cult’ being the first track to surface… we had a listen:

This is a strangely loping beast.
With juddering wiggle-waggle and the kind of experimental gloom you might associate with Nick Cave.
But it’s not perpetual mist and darkness and, although the vocal is perhaps ash and clinkers, this number is rock ‘n’ roll enough to retain a frolicsome heart.
