THE VEX have released an excellent video for tense new song “Education Kills.”

“Education Kills” is written to honor Malala Yousafzai’s tremendous courage — she was shot in the head by the Taliban of Pakistan, while crusading for women’s rights to education.
With this premise in mind, The Vex’s composition, concentrating on the kind of despicable acts men still carry out to keep women down, is set to distorted reggae-punk ostinato, punchy rhythms and comes packaged with a heartfelt, powerfully uplifting chorus.
The band, composed of Josh Schwegler and Jack O’Shea on guitars and vocals and with Andrew Atari on bass and Joshua De Facto on drums tend to create the kind of honest rock that is alive and well in clubs and bars across Kingston, Jamaica as well as London, England…
They bend blues and rock ‘n’ roll into hefty, rocksteady, groovy beats to make ballads that deal with social issues of the day.
Now check Education Kills for yourself…
The track is taken from the limited self-released single-sided 12″ EP available now.
