COWGIRL — Different Ways

COWGIRL is the spiritual dimension of York-based UK songwriter/guitarists Danny Trew Barton [White Firs ] & Sam Coates.

Beginning as a bedroom project, they eventually hit Greenmount Studios in Leeds, 2018, to lay-down a dozen songs in three days. One was to be their third single: “Different Ways” shared below.

Having played shows all around the country, COWGIRL are celebrated for their volatile live performances.

Different Ways is a hummable, dream-pop and surfin’ rock ‘n’ roller that starts dramatically and has lengthened sinews of guitar, squally percussion and mewling vocals. It’s neat, efficient and satisfyingly bumptious.
