Who says grunge is over?
We like to think there’s a place in the world for a song that sounds like “Tainted Love” as sneered-out by Marc Almond in 1981, played by a bunch of musicians from Hull, UK who have clearly listened to too much Joy Division. The song in mind is “Futile” and the band is LUMER.

The lads have released Futile b/w Pink Noise as a follow up to their previous release Blunder before they head back into the studio in 2017 to make fresh recordings.
If you like buzz, gravelly low slung bass and grit in every orifice, you have probably come to the right place.
LUMER are Alex Evans (bass/vocals), Benjamin Jackson (Guitar), Jacob Wardle (drums) and Thom Foster (synth/guitar)
