The sensational British five-piece hard rock outfit THE TREATMENT have now released their brand new album “Power Crazy” via Frontiers Music Srl. It’s the band’s fourth full-length and packed to the brim with transonic energy and ball-blazing riffology.
We thought the first single from the album, “Hang Them High” had the same kinda “earsplitting, sweet-piercing, thumping ego...” as vintage AC/DC. And album opener “Let’s Get Dirty” is just as loud. It’s first-league rock ‘n’ roll with a pleasurable groove, buzzed rhythms and bluesey guitar.
“Bite Back” is a sweaty boogie with a barking chorus, hard-working rhythms and scintillating guitar-work. If you like the classic vibe, you’ll agree with us — this is mesmerizing.
Probably our favorite track is the swinging “Luck Of The Draw” [video shared below] and this number has a kinda elemental Russ Ballard-style legitimacy at its song-core and is sassy as hell, endowed with an ungodly amount of swagger, and inflated by ineffably cool vox.
This is a groovy collection of commercial hair-metal treats for those who weren’t left high ‘n’ dry when the Seattle grungers scuppered their first love.
