Blues guitar legend JOE BONAMASSA last night premiered the official music video for his new single “A Conversation with Alice”. The video went out simultaneously on Joe’s YouTube Channel and live via his official Facebook page. The premiere was followed by a Facebook Live Q&A with Joe.

It’s a wonderfully groovy hard rock number with the influences of Pete Townshend and Roger Daltrey written large all over it, making it the kind of cool (albeit intricately well thought-through) number that would not have been out of place performed at Ronnie Scott’s circa the Spring of ’69.
The guitar, of course, shines… but it is the voice here that transmits and exalts beyond expectations. And the arrangement, with those elegant rhythms and sumptuous musical accompaniments, means that this is out-and-out, nifty-difty fabulous.
The new song, recorded at Abbey Road Studios this January, will appear on Joe’s new album scheduled for release later this year.
