 filled with courage & conscience…

Laura is currently on a 12-date UK tour with Southern Californian blues rock band Robert Jon & The Wreck

Fire With Fire” is a song about working on oneself and, so, is glutted with propulsively palpitating rock guitars that are centered around an intoxicating melody… with engaging song-lyrics that are filled with courage and conscience.  This is a song that calls forth the same kind of emotions, feelings, and responses that Fleetwood Mac once elicited on their White Album.

Laura explains she had the idea and wrote this song during lockdown 2020 co-written with her partner Rich Turner, Laura says “Rich started playing that verse riff on guitar and it reminded me of Fleetwood Mac, and I definitely wanted to put a “spin off “on my usual heartbreak song, hence that’s the first line of the verse, the lyrics were truly poignant for me at the time, they are simply about working on yourself and your peace of mind…

Recorded & produced by long-time collaborator Josiah J Manning, at Momentum Studios (Kris Barras Band) who produced Laura’s whole album, this synergistic creative partnership continues to steamroll across the margins of genre, enticing audiences with a very characterful country-blues/rock sound. Classy!
