The multi-talented, multi-instrumentalist, and astonishingly assiduous re-worker of blues sounds & American roots music MIKE ROSS has announced a run of selected UK shows in support of his forthcoming, rock-infused, 12-track album ‘Third Eye Open’ which is due out 28th April, 2023. The Preacher taken from the forthcoming album is super weightsome, but utterly listenable. A swampy, coarse-grained stomper with funky hotrod guitars, slabstones of rhythm, and passionate and expressive vocals, Darren Lee’s drumming and Derek Randall’s bass notes lend dark intensity to a song that is already as hefty as a cruiser, while guest vocalist Jack J Hutchinson’s supporting tones make the mood richer and more complicated.
