Emblematic American thrash metal proponents FLOTSAM AND JETSAM have released a new single ‘Burned My Bridges‘ taken from the new album ‘I Am The Weapon‘, due 13th September via AFM Records.
The current line-up of the legendary slam-leaders founded (in name) in 1984 includes vocalist Eric “A.K” Knutson, guitarists Michael Gilbert and Steve Conley, bassist Bill Bodily, and drummer Ken Mary.

Running fast-tempo into the modern era, and while our planet had been brought to its knees by Covid, and despite being in a holding pattern for the most of the epidemic, FLOTSAM AND JETSAM turned a difficult circumstance into an opportunity to express their creativity & anger. What came out was the highly regarded song “Blood in the Water,” which AFM Records released in 2021.
The powerful new studio album I Am The Weapon aims to expand on that strong base of persistence and counterattack.
As anticipated Burned My Bridges is a furious outburst of imprisoned agony that includes fiery vocals, lightning-fast percussion, and superfire guitar. A magnificent manifestation of indisputable fireblasting frustration!
