RAGING ROBERT JON AND THE WRECK

The Southern roots rockers, ROBERT JON and THE WRECK, have released their most electro-energized single to date, “Rager,” out on all digital platforms.

Renowned for their unique fusion of Southern rock, Americana, and blues they turn up the heat to max with their newest high-octane track.

We’ve characterized the band’s sound as a mix of “silver-studded bombast and alligator-bootstrap styling…”

Rager” captures this same sense of intense spirit; blending dynamic guitar, edgy organ, and subtle synth melody with powerful bass and drum rhythms. The song culminates in a thrilling Deep Purple influenced climax. Taking the band’s signature sound to spectacular heights, this track serves as a powerful rock anthem that lives up to its tempestuous title.

The number boogies like a slatternly road steamer crossing the ruts, with a bubbling menthol & hackberry undercurrent.

Robert Jon Burrison’s pufferbilly vocals and Andrew Espantman’s locomoting drumming set the tone for Henry James Schneekluth’s chemically sulphurous guitar work and the absorbent bass play (from Warren Murrel) that arrives laced with spice-drops of saucy synth from Jake Abernathie.

Rager is laced with spice-drops of saucy synth from Jake Abernathie…

What started as a loose, improvised jam turned into an atomic bomb of sonic fury,” explains lead guitarist Henry James Schneekluth.

This track was inspired by the glory days of 70s hard rock and features heavy, gritty organ & synth as well as a funky and raucous drum groove & bass line. We present to you a new level of heaviness to get wrecked to – ‘Rager’!”
