Norwich England band FLAT WHITE are releasing their album ‘A Quiet Revolution‘ this Spring.
The project was created by singer-songwriter Gary Cole-Wilkin (AKA ‘GCW’) in the mid-naughties as an outlet for his rather Left leaning and cynical world view.
CGW decided to take things more seriously after releasing a number of quirky and multifaceted low-fidelity records. He brought on Richard Rix, known as “Rixy,” (on keyboards) and they published the album “Misfits,” which attracted considerable attention.

‘Zeitgeist‘ was released in 2022, and drummer David Dowdeswell-Allaway, of Airbridge, Penguins Go Pop & Bark Prelude, was brought onto the tight team.
Their (perhaps post) apocalyptic new single ‘Stop the Clock‘ (inspired by the recognition that the hands of the Doomsday Clock continue to advance inexorably to the midnight hour) is out now, with the music video shared below.
The deepest synths and most flexible bass notes you can imagine tend to highlight the consistent beat that, you know in your heart, will lead to unavoidable decreation. As scrapbooky dry and as instantly flammable as a paper detonator on a stick of dynamite, the whispery voice delivers its shadowy menace. Unnerving!
