Two of the biggest luminaries in contemporary British rocking-blues have united to deliver a grand instrument of musicological excellence!
The Northern Irish blues guitarist DOM MARTIN has teamed-up with Birmingham’s melodic blues-rock award-winning trio BLUE NATION to produce an utterly one-of-a-kind, handmade guitar described as ‘The Blue Martin.’
Crafted from the same wood preferred by Blue Nation’s bassist Luke Weston, the neck vibrates with the pulse and soul of plentiful live shows.
At the heart of the unique guitar is the same pickup that makes Dom Martin’s sound so utterly distinctive. Described as the most authentic PAF tone available (!) it’s wired to the same specs as Neil Murdoch’s Les Paul Custom, with technology that combines modern dependability with vintage vibration.
Jason from The Guitar Show provided the body, which echoes the shape of drummer Nick Sharman’s first guitar and is a representation of Martin’s and Murdoch’s. Its vintage weathered finish combines nostalgia with unmatched character.
Additionally, the instrument sports artistry by painter/printmaker Jessica Rose —- a breathtaking visual fusion of Dom Martin’s Celtic spirituality and Blue Nation’s paisley panache. This amazing instrument intertwines two realms, both constantly changing, with lacquerwork by Fenton Guitar Works protecting and enhancing Jessica’s creative design.
