Seryn is a six-piece band (from Denton, TX now Nashville, TN) whose music features well layered textures of guitars, ukulele, accordion, bass, violin, banjo and various percussion sounds.
The band has seen a few lineup changes over the past three years, and has made a transition from label to independent. Ultimately, the struggle to keep their heads above water has strengthened the band’s core focus and upwards direction.

Seryn’s new music video for “The Fire” from the band’s latest release, Shadow Shows has been released.
We had a listen:
Here we find stridulation.
Quills of the lightest percussive sounds are cast out, some wiry and some barbed, many fox-tailed and detachable, most soft and ticklish.
A voice, still anxious, rises gently like a balloon in the sky. Bobbing across a pollinated horizon.
With nervous violin and perfectly matched yellowish guitars — this voice blossoms gracefully with yet more handclaps and some perfectly sublime vocal accompaniment.
Creative and beautiful folk-rock with exquisite vocals and a tapestry of sounds of a fruitful summer.
