We have been listening to BECOME’s remix of XYLØ’s “Between The Devil & The Deep Blue Sea”.
BECOME takes the misty Sister/Brother sounds from the L.A. act XYLO (which is producer Chase Duddy and vocalist Paige Duddy) and creates something you can sway to. It BECOMES ever more therapeutic and bittersweet.
BECOME is an indie/urban side-project of the EXGF Collective.
Chilled streams of tropical island rhythm — and a voice that is merely a heavenly glow — this is as pale as moonlight hitting the ridges.
You can raise your hands to those rivulets and try to grip all that is beautiful…
But you cannot hold onto something so diaphanous…
