The New Single from FLOWER FELLOW is Distinctive and Dark

Regular readers will know that we covered the London (UK) based Folk Rock artist Flower Fellow earlier this year,  when we listened to The Rabbit EP and we described it as a “Divine revelation…https://rawramp.me/2015/06/02/a-divine-revelation

Flower Fellow is the project of Colette Olive, a strong-voiced 17 year-old singer/songwriter.

She has about to issue her brand new single “Madman” — out 4th September.

We had a first listen:

This is romantically gothic with a darker shade of umber running right across it — and a madrigal feeling to its skin.

Although simply strummed, it is more complex than it might first appear.

Vocals are mesmerizing and deep. And the regular rhythm reminds us of waves breaking on a shore. Dangerous and desperate.

Distinctive and dark folk rock with a dazzling beautiful voice… Genuinely haunting…
