Six Top Picks for WILDFIRE — Scotand’s Rock and Metal Festival

June days crawl ever closer and so the WILDFIRE FESTIVAL grows an ever more impressive line-up.

It’s all but finalised — but there’s still an announcement of more exciting bands. Here are our next six picks:

Scotland's Rock and Metal Festival. 24-26 June 2016
Scotland’s Rock and Metal Festival. 24-26 June 2016
  • DORJE
This band from Brighton have the technical flair and melodic mastery to make big anthems that simply won’t go away. Think Alter Bridge
  • 48 HOURS
From the “Kent end” of London this band play rock-hard pop numbers with slamming drums, and plenty of guts ‘n’ melody
Noisy West London outfit who take influence from bands such as Royal Blood, Muse and Biffy Clyro… Exciting as fireworks up your jumper!
RAW RAMP once described this band as “dark and slimy. Not unlike Alice Cooper […] their licks wrap around your limbs.” So think snakey and rocky then!
  • KANE’D
As regular readers know, we love this Welsh band fronted by 3 beautiful sisters. Expect awesome harmonies and crunching guitars with pounding beats that’ll keep you clapping
These are smart punks from Leeds who play glam-punk tunes with grin & attitude and more than a dollop of humour. We love ’em!

No doubt this will be an outstanding weekend of rock… Scotland won’t know what’s hit ’em when the gates of Wildfire open for 3 days of rock and metal mayhem on Friday 24th June!

Here are some other stand-out acts you ought not miss:

A Jokers Rage, Altered Sky, Apriori, Baleful Creed, Colour of Noise, Crowsaw, Fireroad, Forever Never,, Hell’s Addiction, Inglorious, Massive Wagons, RSJ, Screaming Eagles, Sinocence, Sky Valley Mistress, Stone Broken and Thirteen Stars…

WILDFIRE FESTIVAL is Scotland’s only 3 day rock and metal festival – it returns 2016 to the stunning grounds of WISTON LODGE on 24-26 June to host to more than 60 ACTS OVER THREE STAGES.
