American blue-eyed R&B-infused soul singer LEO NAPIER [born to British parents, so he spent time in London during his childhood ] worked with New York DJ/Producers Gramatik and GRiZ [and many others] from 2014 till relatively recently.
Now he finds his way with a debut single ‘Dime’ produced by the legendary hit-man producer Richard Gotterher.

We had an early listen:
Jessie’ J’s “Price Tag” first comes to mind when you hear this single crack along on its jaunty pace.
The percussion-riff on that number so perfectly matched Black Heat’s “Zimba Ku” that it still causes a grumble.
Anyhoo, expect — on this too — a thick rubbery reggae bass and narrow chips of guitar.
On “Dime” we also get articulate contemporary lyrics about breaking/losing/getting back a dime…
You might know that a dime is worth ten cents [if you live in London, maybe not] but you almost certainly don’t know the other definition :
A gorgeous, sexy woman.
With an absurdly attractive voice and twinkly-smiling rhythm, this one stands out.
