TENELLE Christine Luafalemana has often been described as “ a breath of fresh air…”
Her healthy beauty and expressive smile percolates across a stage when she beguiles listeners with her emotionally sensual sounds.
Tenelle isn’t exactly sure when her love for singing first started, but suggests that “growing up in Carson CA, with a big family, where talent shows are more competitive than the X-Factor itself…” was part of the deal.
As a child, Tenelle remembers listening to artists such as Lauryn Hill, Betty Wright, and Joss Stone, and watching films such as the original Sparkle.
Years later she would find herself on a sparkling stage performing her hit singles such as “Flava” and “Get Some” in front of huge crowds all over the world.
Tenelle’s untroubled mental attitude and vivacious love for life attracts not only fans, but also everyday people. “I hope my singing makes you smile,” she says, “because a smile can change the world. I want to make the world smile…”
The debut album released this March For The Lovers debuted at #1 on Billboard’s Reggae Albums chart.
