DEAD LABEL — Pure Chaos

Ireland’s finest thrash metallers DEAD LABEL have this month released a super red-hot video for “Pure Chaos” ahead of their appearance at the UK’s Download Festival this June.

This is the first DEAD LABEL new track since their highly acclaimed ‘Throne of Bones’ album last summer.

“Pure Chaos” sees DEAD LABEL seize the substance of their live sound and intensify it within the recorded environment. Check out the video below.

The song is based around a religious cult leader, who, after forcefully expanding his congregation, get’s his comeuppance.

Directed and produced by Irish based film company Crooked Gentlemen, it marks the band’s fourth music video to date.

Drummer, Claire Percival said, “We gave the Crooked Gentleman guys (Shaun Ryan and Jeff Doyle) the track and they came back to us very excited about this concept […] When they pitched it to us; we really loved the idea. It’s without a doubt the darkest video in terms of subject matter that we have created.”

Pure Chaos” is a brutal panting beast that runs across glacial-carved sandstone ridges of rhythm with enough complex earth-shattering power to knock the teeth from Knockoughter’s bony skull.

Catch Dead Label on Saturday June 10th on the Dogtooth Stage at this year’s Download. Stage times tbc.

“Throne of Bones” is out now.
