MeYA is an electric-pop girl duo comprising of Mena Lovin and Yasmine Staub. The two international models and singer/song-writers met on a film set in L.A.
This week they share their music video for “Human” — the first single from a debut EP titled, perhaps unsurprisingly, “Body Parts.”

Originally from Melbourne and Perth, Australia (respectively), Mena and Yasmine came together in the summer of 2015 over a shared love of eclectic, flamboyant pop.
Body Parts is an autobiographical account of their experiences in the entertainment industry. With influences like BloodPop, Mena and Yasmine have opened up their daybooks to reveal a snappy-fingered world of rejection, fearfulness, powerfulness and glorification.
With punchy lyrics and energised, driving sounds — the debut EP is filled with effective highs and lows. The new single is a power-pop anthem designed to shake the cobwebs from a dusty mind. It has a clicketty-clicking cheer-leading riff with Boom Clappy vocals and neat, yet dark, t.A.T.u. flavoured stylistic overtones.
It sounds like “What You Waiting For?” era Gwen Stefani, plus Toni Basil and the Go-Go’s rolled into one.
