Following on from their impressive debut EP “Young and Lonesome” the fizzy ‘n’ exciting London based trio HEY CHARLIE are about to cause another stir with new track, “Love Machine”
The accompanying video shows the girls — Lizz (guitarist & vocalist), Sophie (bassist & vocalist) and Lauren (drums & B/vox) — rocking out & wearing their trademark matching uniforms.
According to the band: “Love Machine is for anyone who’s fallen in love too quickly and it’s all gone wrong too fast...”
We had a listen to the edgy anti-love song :
This has a balanced metric rhythm and some lovely, winsome vocals that do more than just fatally enchant…
Because this is a pure rock-out jump… with buzz, grind and well-muscled musicianship in every well-placed chord and angular riff. Thumping good!
Oh yes, these biznetwomen are the bees…
