The multi-piece California Soul ensemble MIDTOWN SOCIAL based in the San Francisco Bay Area and formed in 2012, blend smooth soul, chunky funk and sassy rock to create some boogie-bouncing, good-time ra-ra that brings to mind Family Stone, En Vogue and even Chicago.

They will release their “Savoir Faire” on September 27th, which will be accompanied by a snazzy 1980s themed video, and brings more “Fantastic Colors”.
Against plucky guitars and whistling synths, this is a joyful and relaxing piece of plush that carries itself with aplomb & dignity and reminds us of mid-1990s Lighthouse Family.
So… slow down, loosen-up, and… dance your heart to this.
While you’re waiting for Savoir Faire to drop, why not try out the vibrant title track from the forthcoming album: “Fantastic Colors” that can be filed alongside Terence Trent D’Arby in your soul.
