We’ve been firm fans of the prolific four piece South Yorkshire punk band HANDS OFF GRETEL since we saw them play the Devolution Xmas Party way back in 2015.

Their space-age, gypsy-punk sound ( with cabaret sensibilities) can best be described as “a stuttering Courtney Love princess caught in a blender and strangled to death by her own fishnet stockings.” Think Dresden Dolls but with added spasmatic jolts and lots of sequinned electricity.
So we’re super-pleased to share the new video for “She Thinks She’s Punk Rock N Roll” taken from the new 2020 EP “The Angry EP”
It’s a punk ‘n’ roll carousal with lumps of gelatinous bass, squidgy guitars, and ballyhoo drums. . .
And Lauren Tate’s voice is as garrulous as it is consolidative…
