Rock & Roll legend DION will release his new album “Blues With Friends” on Joe Bonamassa’s new label “KTBA Records” (Keeping the Blues Alive Records) on June 5th.
“Blues With Friends” features 13 tracks with special guests including Billy Gibbons, Bruce Springsteen, Jeff Beck, Paul Simon, Joe Bonamassa, Van Morrison, Brian Setzer, Sonny Landreth, Joe Louis Walker, Samantha Fish, Stevie Van Zandt and many more.
We thought that his “Blues Comin’ On” from the album, with Joe Bonamassa, was a “bump and chugging locomoter […] with rawboned rhythms and lots of gusty guitar streamers.”
The rock legend has now premiered a new track and a music video collaboration for the song “Bam Bang Boom” featuring lead guitar from ZZ Top’s BILLY GIBBONS.
This song has a propositioning beat, expostulating guitars, piccalilli chirrups (from Billy) and enough bonking thump ‘n’ masculine momentum to fertilize the entire femenino populace as far south as Zacatecas. Moody, mean and efficient, “Bam Bang Boom” is a blast of the old stuff.

Good to hear Dion still in good voice.
A while back I found a version in cyberspace of the great man singing The Wanderer with friends round his kitchen table during morning coffee. It had lost none of its charm in 50 odd years.
I learned it straight off and sang it at a gig of my own later that week! Thanks, Mick
Great memory, Mick. Thanks for sharing
