The Denver born now Nashville based singer songwriter IVORY LAYNE has released the first single from her forthcoming EP “Confetti” titled “December”.

This visceral & uncontrived new composition was produced by Nick Atkinson and Edd Holloway (Lewis Capaldi, James Bay).
It is Ivory’s first official single release (in the UK) since signing with Justin Timberlake’s artist development company, Villa 40.
“The idea behind ‘December’ is life having many seasons which subject us to changes in our circumstances and outlook...” she says.
“Nothing does last forever – we are in our December. The song sets the tone and sonic feel of the (future) EP, which feels like a new chapter of art and music for me...”
The accompanying music video (see below) directed by the Nashville film-makers The Dunlap Brothers (aka SVVN) and shot with a cottony, meditative sensuousness.
It is an hypnotic sojourn, characterized by Ivory metamorphosing with each changing season (video below.) The delicately stepping keyboard accompaniment helps nurture the extraordinarily architectural voice that is slightly rococo, and slightly baroque. Magnificently evocative!
