AODHAN video still from I'm Closed Official Music Video

AODHAN Visits Empty Spaces

Eighteen tear old indie-pop artist AODHAN — aka Aidan Whitehall — has released an infectiously uplifting new single titled “Empty Spaces” via AntiFragile Music.

Brimming with sun-soaked hooks, shimmering synths, and beguiling harmonies, AODHAN once again creates a sound that will transport the listener into heavenly sunlight.

A transcendent sense of honeyed seduction…

The title was co-produced by Ryan Miller before it was sent to Josh Ager (Beabadoobee, Sam Fender, Holly Humberstone) in the UK for mixing, then back to Paul Blakey for mastering.

Aidan explains: “Empty Spaces is a song written about my first big break up. This topic is pretty new territory for me songwriting wise, so it was an interesting experience trying gather all of the feelings I had at the time and turn it into this cheesy, moody yet fun indie pop track.

Empty Spaces” is sparkly, shimmery, summery and sylphlike billowy yet, though dreamlike in nature, the song has unquestionable & substantive presence brought by Aodhan’s buttery-peaty songvoice and a transcendent sense of honeyed seduction.

AODHAN’s previous releases caught the attention of Communion Publishing UK, which saw him signing a deal where he joins a roster that includes Bear’s Den and Catfish and the Bottlemen.
