The irrepressibly ebullient Swedish melodic rockers H.E.A.T will release their significant new album, Force Majeure on Friday August 5th 2022.
The album features the band’s original frontman, the super-propellent lead singer, Kenny Leckremo.
Leckremo issued a solo album, titled “Spectra” before returning to live touring with the band last year. He replaces previous lead singer, Erik Grönwall, who announced his departure from the band towards the end of 2020.
The first single from the album, Nationwide possesses tonnes of jacked-up, full-throttle guitar, blazing rhythms, and the kind of excito-nutrient vocals that woukd intoxicate any rapaciously self-respecting hothead… Or, to put it another way, this is one helluva hullabaloo!
“Back To The Rhythm” is pyroelectric superfun with terawatts of positronic energy and a Frankensteinian levels of irrepressible liveliness. Oodles of Dare-type keyboarding, spirited rhythms, and rousing vocals, whip this into a spirited and mettlesome joy. If you fancy the idea of a harder-edged Wings of Tomorrow era Europe, then this one is for you. Zesty vivacity!
“Hollywood” (video shared below) is a thumping groover and a wow-fantastic hoopla of sizzling glamrock imperatives, with a compulsively narcotic chorus, a paramorphine riff, neuroactive rhythms, and absolute sackfuls of angel-dust star quality!
It’s as if the grunge movement never happened. It’s as if Springfield and Smokestack Lightnin’ still played the Whiskey. And it’s as if the Dolls still hung-out at the English Disco. But, so what? Since when was enjoying oneeself such a bad thing? Since when did gregarious irrepressibility go out of fashion?
So, if you wish Silverhead were still Rolling With My Baby and you miss those seductive, slinky, & stylishly overlusty days, grab a long listen to this… yes, immerse yourself into a giddy nostalgist’s sequined dream!
