JAIME KYLE was the first Nashville woman to sign a major rock contract in New York — with Atlantic/ Atco — and the press crowned her The Goddess of Hard Rock.
She’s headlined shows and also opened for, performed and recorded with international artists as meritorious as Foreigner, Bad Company (all 3 versions of the band), Joe Lynn Turner, Dave Mason (Traffic), Ozzy Osbourne, Geoff Tate (Queensrÿche), Michael McDonald, Pablo Cruise, Arc Angels with Doyle Bramhal, Richard Marx, Delbert McClinton, Badfinger, Ian McLagen, (Rolling Stones, Faces) Paulinho Da Casta, Walter Egan (Lindsey Buckingham, Stevie Nicks), The Doobie Brothers and many more.
The first single from her highly anticipated long-player is ‘Driving with the Brakes On’ that features the Devon-born Britsih blues-rock guitar virtuoso Kris Barras.
We spoke with the singer-songwriter about recording a masterpiece new album that features a number of illustrious guests; we talked about producing sounds and using creative imagination, and we found out where some of her ideas originate!
