The tour announcement coincides with WRM’s first-ever Christmas single ‘Christmas Is Here’ b/w ‘It’s The Time of the Year’. Written by Grace and Aaron Bond, and produced by Adam Bowers, the double A-side single is available from heir shop at: shop.whenriversmeet.co.uk
‘Christmas Is Here’ is a super-compelling blues-rock tune that features Grace Bond’s distinct, super-boosting vocals and raunched-up mandolin solo over Aaron Bond’s sandsoap and flint guitar riffs and synergizing vocals.
While ‘It’s The Time of the Year’ harkens back to family gatherings around the piano, providing the perfect seasonal platform for Grace to demonstrate her ability to reflexively switch from emphatic rockiness to translucent balladry, with Aaron’s wonderful vocal harmony soaked into the choruses.
