The Cold Chisel superstar guitarist IAN MOSS is heading to the UK this summer!
The Australian rock musician is famed as the founding guitarist and occasional singer of Adelaide’s 1973-83 award-winning pub rock band Cold Chisel, often described as ‘one of Australia’s best loved groups.’
In August 1989 Moss released his debut solo album, Matchbook, which peaked at number one on the ARIA Albums Chart and won five categories in the 1990 Aria Music Awards.
In March 2018, Moss released Ian Moss, his first solo album of all original material in 22 years. And in July 2023 Moss released his eighth studio album Rivers Run Dry.
Moss’s touring band consists of some of the finest musicians in Australia, with Zoe Hauptmann on bass (Neil Finn, Paul Kelly, Missy Higgins) Ollie Thorpe on guitars (Matt Corby, Meg Mac) and Kerry Jacobson on drums (Dragon, Mondo Rock).
Moss has announced two rare UK performances this summer: the first on Wednesday, July 10, at Glasgow’s King Tuts, and the second on Friday, July 12, at Bush Hall, London.
