Chloe adds, “Stand Up features the incredible Will Wilde on harmonica. We’ve known Will for a while now through gigs together. He is insanely talented! During pre-production for the album, we performed with Will at the Tuesday Night Music Club and asked him to be part of our album.”
The piece begins with a guitar that has been distorted & fuzzbleached into a state of weathered ironmongery, then moves into a kerthumping riff that seems manacled to the arrangement by Will’s supermonster harmonica tones.
The vocals are perfectly maximised for this piece’s layered design, with a powerful & almost carnivorous feel to them.
