EDDIE AND THE WOLVES Tasty Sin

EDDIE AND THE WOLVES Taste The Sin

The forthcoming album ‘Tasty Sin‘ by the Derby-based, UK blues rockers EDDIE AND THE WOLVES is a bold step into uncharted territory for the band as they play tribute to the greats of the genre while also deliberately tapping-into the solid foundations and vibrant weave of classic rock.

Powerhouse vocalists, husband and wife duo Eddie and Char Saffell, convey stories of love, revolt, and suspense, blended with blues-infused guitar riffs, and super-compelling arrangements on this exciting album. The recording reflects the timeless topics of rock, while also presenting this band’s boldness of artistic ambition.

brings to mind early Black Label Society in terms of translucent forcefulness, graceful rhythmic articulateness, & lawless spirit…

Raw Ramp

Songs like The Devil’s Wrong, But Not to Blame (video shared below) features a vocal style that will send shivers down your spine and ignite your spirit, and comes accompanied by profoundly rutted bass lines, a roaring ferment of majestic guitar, and dedicated perscussion.

With its electrophysical curdling of sentiments, the title track Tasty Sin is a deceptively detailed churning of wolfish vocals, rapid guitarwork, and barraging of tom-toms. It brings to mind early Black Label Society in terms of translucent forcefulness, graceful rhythmic articulateness, and lawless spirit.

Tasty Sin - Eddie and the Wolves
…the thermocoupling duet on the finale is hot as a combustion-box dropped into the mouth of a volcano…

In Voodoo, a punchy and swingy rock ‘n’ roll embranglement, Char takes on the lead vocal. Wonderful!

With a huge deal of ambition & overwrought vocals to go along with anxious keys, pounding drums, and glam-rockish treacles of guitar, Crawling is a superior stadium-filler. With a smouldering guitar adding monumentality to the arrangement, the thermocoupling duet on this finale is hot as a combustion-box dropped into the mouth of a volcano. Redoubtable!

Sitting amid the classic rock sounds of Biffy Clyro, Queensrÿche, and Pride & Glory (but never in such close contact that these influences detract from the band’s blues inspirations), Eddie & The Wolves produce scorching, arena-ready musical explosions that are sure to wow audiences. Brace yourself!
