Nashville-based Southern Rockers PARKER BARROW have made their comeback to the world of high-thrills music with an eagerly anticipated new single, “Make It.”
The band are named after Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow, the notorious bank robbers of early Great Depression era America.
Jukebox Gipsies, the band’s 2023 debut album, was a major contender on lists of the “Best of 2023.”
“Make It,” written and recorded by Dylan Turner (drums) and Alex Bender (guitar), is the first single from the band’s eagerly awaited album, scheduled for release later this year.

Parker Barrow’s captivating vintage vibe incorporates elements of blues, soul, and southern rock, though the band’s style is unambiguously and uniquely their own.
For the new single, the band returned to producer Stephen McKnight, who was also responsible for producing their debut album.
“Make It was a fun song to write,” says Dylan. “It allowed us to show a more playful side of the band both lyrically and musically. The song is a sweet concoction of heavy drums, loud guitars and screaming vocals. The time changes give us room to balance the groove and high energy swing feel that are both so prominent in classic southern rock ‘n’ roll.”
With a tingling ‘n’ clambering riff and a clanking jatter, this thrill-ride comes rushing to life with Megan’s roiling, velvety, firelit vocal.
The chorus is a scorching combustion of thrusting thrills. Yep, the song is a feast of flourish!
