BRAVE RIVAL’s modern take on classic rock has earned them a dedicated fan-base across the U.K.
We’ve described their stage-show as an “elixir for sonorific dreams” and “a multidimensional experience”.
Now the award-winning band release their EP “5 to 4” (referencing their recent resharpening) accompanied by a video for their razor-quaking new single, “Wild Child”.
“Wild Child” is ‘glam’ in theatricality (though not in a bad way), and comes laden with heavy branding iron fearlessness and tons of combustion. It is a swaying buzzsaw hip wiggle of compelling melody and gritty-granite fire-rhythms. Hot, hot, hot!

Bassist Billy Dedman says: “Wild Child started as this really groovy riff over a shuffle feel. Lindsey quickly came back to the next rehearsal with this great chorus hook which we tried over a totally different feel which at first, it just wasn’t working quite right. Eventually we found the right chords, with the right feel and it just became this monster of a song!”
Drummer Donna Peters adds, “I really love the way the syncopated vocal part on the final chorus fits within the same floor tom part that is used on the intro! It’s such a fun song to play live…”

Brave Rival will support the release with an extensive UK tour, kicking off on October 18th in Aldershot and continuing through to March 2025 with dates across the country.
