Temilia To Meet You at the Rainbow

Stockholm based Temilia and the Passions have been playing together since 2008.

The band consists of five friends: Sofie, violinist; Jesper, drummer; Temilia, singer and songwriter; Fredrik, bass player; Flamman, guitarist.

Temilia’s characteristic voice wobbles between light and darkness as a reflection of the songs she performs.

The fourth self-titled EP was released June 17 2014.

We have been listening to ‘Where The Rainbows Meet’ :-

This has some box-top drums and thin filamental guitars.

Temilia’s blessed vocal gambols across this assortment of tidy sounds. There is no powerful rush.

The tone is bright-eyed and breath-catching. Sometimes the voice is honey-sweet high. Other times, it tumbles down. To lurk within the kindly idleness.

After a deep breath, a tender instrumental framework is formed.

Into this the flushed cheeks and blushed lips of the main-song settles into rhythmic chorus.

This undulates beautifully. Like a strong branch in the wings of the wind.
