Hard Rollin’ Excitement from THE DIRTY THRILLS — Sweetheart Of The Slums — EP Review

The London based filthy-good rock band DIRTY THRILLS will release their new EP ‘Sweetheart Of The Slums’ on August 18th.

It’s an ambitious explosion of rock ‘n’ roll goodness. And sure to light the fire in your pent-up muscles.

The ‘Sweetheart of the Slums’ EP features classy and original rock that will grip the listener from the very first play and will simply refuse to let go.

DIRTY THRILLS rectWe had a listen:

Letterbomb’ fizzes like a mixture of hydrochloric acid and explosives.

The guitar is strong and durable and, of course, completely courageous. It slices across the rhythms with a rare and fearless fortitude.

The vocal from Louis James is rougher than a rawhide seat on a vintage chopper.

Blues track “Feelin” screams at you like a fine & sexy gutta-bitch who is angry with her man.

And “Hourglass” chokes and gurgles with sleaze. Plus, the chorus is more hooky chooky than a recently glimpsed hair-twirler flaunting her curves by the roadside.

Pure hard-rollin’ gut stomp from classy fine-rock purveyors with stories to tell…
